The community came together last night to pay their final respects to members of a Prince George family killed in a tragic highway crash less than two weeks ago . The Prince George Civic Centre was filled to capacity with people attending a memorial service for Prince George Citizen systems manager Matt Altizer , his wife Leah , their children Jonathon and Emily ,and Matt's sister Heather Kress. The family died at the scene of a two vehicle head-on crash the morning of February 9th on Highway 97 ,five kilometres north of McLeeese Lake . The driver of the semi escaped serious injury . The cause of the crash remains under investigation .
