Both of the UNBC basketball teams dropped first place showdowns in Naniamo at Vancouver Island University. The Lady Timberwolves saw their perfect season come to an end and it knocked them out of top spot at the same time. VIU defeated UNBC 73-57. The UNBC men fell 76-71 to the Mariners. Next weekend the Timberwolves conclude the regular season at Langara and Kwantlen.
