The Cougars continuing a four game road trip this afternoon on holiday Monday in the states. After a weekend split in Victoria they were in Portland for a matinee. The Cats felt the wrath of the Winterhawks who scored three in the first and second periods on their way to a 7-2 win. The victory moved the Hawks into second in the West and top spot in the US division. Troy Bourke and Dalton Siwak had the Cougar goals. Drew Owsley gave up five goals on 24 shots. While Devon Fordyce was solid in relief stopping 24 of 26 fired his way. Same teams meet Tuesday evening in Portland.
